I am an Australian government worker, writer and anthropologist

My work and study over the last two decades, managing homelessness in Australian capital city settings and responding to large scale displacement following natural disasters in Asia has allowed me to respond to homelessness in many different forms.
In 2022, I was privileged to complete a Churchill Fellowship, investigating how councils can end homelessness while balancing responsibilities to the wider community.
I am firm in my belief that local government can play a pivotal role in ending homelessness. Devoted to enhancing knowledge and capacity in the sector, I work to educate and advocate for greater recognition and funding to bolster councils' efforts in prevention and finding ways to end homelessness..
